17:00 Artists promenade – With the artists of the Vörösmarty Theatre; the youth who have emerged at talent contests; traditionalists; and a chamber music concert. The following are held at the City Hall square at 16:30, before the Artists promenade: award of the Fehérvár Hero game and the “Stay at home” campaign; moreover, the press conference trailer of the Royal Days Of Székesfehérvár, in the presence of royal giant puppets.

Alba Regia Feszt

The most famous Hungarian representatives of the jazz, funk-soul and other fusion styles hold concerts for three days at the open-air stage of the renewed square.

20:30 Balance ceremony – dramatic historical play with dancers, musicians and circus artists

János Matuz wrote and directed a special performance for the opening of the festival which conjures up the main rulers of the greatest of the Árpád-House: Saint Stephen, Saint Ladislaus, Coloman the Learned, Béla III, Béla IV, Ladislaus IV, Andrew III the Venetian, Elizabeth of Hungary and Margaret of Hungary.

18:00 Votive mass in the Saint Emery Church, the mass is celebrated by Antal Spányi, bishop of the diocese. Prior to the mass, from 17:30, the relics of the Hungarian Saint Family – Saint Stephen, Gisela of Hungary and Saint Emery – are ceremonially escorted from the Episcopal Palace to the Saint Emery Church and back after the mass.

The prize was founded in 2004 by private individuals and in each year it is awarded to the person whose activity, professional course of life and human attitude have been guided by the inheritance of the king Saint Stephen.

17:00 – Entitled “From Szatmár to Mezőföld”, the nicest dances are brought by the Talent Art School, based in Cece, and the Paks Talent Dance Workshop, almost sixty people from small children to adults. At 17:00, Mrs. Józsefné Iker and her colleagues and students present themselves in their beautiful clothes and with wonderful dances starting from the Orb on several occasions and at various locations.

19:30 The year-opening and introductory concert of the Alba Regia Symphony Orchestra, conductor: Péter Dobszay. This is the 30
th year that the residents of Székesfehérvár are guests at the foot of the romantic Bory-castle, on the eve of the ceremony of Saint Stephen the visitors are awaited with programs of entertainment and music.

18:00 Procession and introduction of royal giant puppets with musicians and traditionalists from the Vörösmarty Theatre to the City Hall square, where a small concert of the Székesfehérvár Youth Brass Band awaits the procession.

The renewed Best of Geszti provides a great selection of the most popular songs of Rapülők, Jazz+Az, Gringosztár and Létvágy, with visual excitement, two great, new female singers, and the excellent musicians of Jazz+Az.

The historical small festival awaits the visitors with the following in this year as well: genuine middle age atmosphere; traditionalist performances; old music bands; family games presenting the Árpád-House kings; many children’s plays; creative and artisan occupations; and, naturally, royal giant puppets.
From 21:00 the City Centre is coloured by building light painting: interactive puzzle game with 3D light cubes on the Országzászló square and 3D building projection at the Main street building of the King Saint Stephen Museum.

Spectacular production of modern performance with popular soloists, an own band consisting of the best performers of the music profession and with the most professional spectacle and animation technology. In addition to the title role of Pál Feke, Péter Novák, György Szomor, Flóra Herczeg, Boglárka Simon, Attila Serbán and Péter Sándor participate in the performance.

The historical small festival awaits the visitors with the following in this year as well: genuine middle age atmosphere; traditionalist performances; old music bands; family games presenting the Árpád-House kings; many children’s plays; creative and artisan occupations; and, naturally, royal giant puppets.
From 21:00 the City Centre is coloured by building light painting: interactive puzzle game with 3D light cubes on the Országzászló square and 3D building projection at the Main street building of the King Saint Stephen Museum. From 21:00 this evening: Circum Aurora – aerial fire theatre at the edge of the Zichy park, on the King Mathias boulevard.

19:00 Live chess of the middle age: Battle of the three kings
The white and black armies clash again: one of the most important battles of Hungary in the middle ages, the battle of Dürnkrut on 26 August 1278 is presented on a chess table of a hundred square meters by 35 students of the SzC I. Stephen Vocational College of Székesfehérvár in the form of a live chess game. The Hungarian and Cuman troops played a major role in the victory that elevated the House of Habsburg, a hitherto small and almost unknown Austrian emperor house, to among the most influential families of Europe. The performance was written and directed by János Matuz.

At the most important series of programs of the city, the City Hall also opens its gates to visitors: the authentic copies of the Aba Novák secco, the Saint Crown, the Orb and the coronation sword can be seen. At 18:00 and 20:00 on 21 August, Saturday, the group building visit is started with the guidance of mayor András Cser-Palkovics.
